HORTICULTURAL PEAT
To produce horticultural peat, we first transport peat from various bogs in Estonia to the factory's storage area. Then we prepare mixtures with the appropriate bulk density and moisture content and screen them into the fractions desired by the customer. At the customer's request, we also adjust the pH level of the product by adding lime to the peat.
In order to reduce the volume of airy peat to optimize transport, we press it into plastic packages with dedicated presses and place them on the wooden pallets. The product is then loaded into a sea container and shipped to customers in different parts of the world, where it is used as plant growing soil or as raw material for the production of growing substrates.
We offer big bales and small packages as packaging:
Package | Volume (l) | Average weight (kg) | Qty per 40HC container |
---|---|---|---|
Big bale | 6000 | 1200 | 22 |
Small bale | 225-300 | 50 | 462-504 |
